About this website

This website is operated by Quay-Pharm Ltd, trading as Sweenys Health and operating from H Sweeny Chemist, Unit 17, Quayside Shopping Centre, Strand Road, Derry/Londonderry, BT48 7PX.

By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Not medical advice or an emergency service

Website content is general information and does not replace an individual consultation, diagnosis or treatment plan. Do not use this website or email for urgent medical help. If you believe there is an immediate risk to life, call 999. For urgent but non-life-threatening help, use the appropriate NHS service.

Appointments, deposits and communications

An online booking is a request for the selected appointment. Booking confirmation does not guarantee that a particular medicine, treatment or service will be clinically suitable or supplied. Please provide accurate information and attend at the confirmed time.

Most service payments are taken in the pharmacy. Selected appointment types require a deposit during the Calendly booking process, processed securely by Stripe. The amount and applicable cancellation or rescheduling terms are shown before payment and form part of that booking. Any remaining service charge is payable in the pharmacy unless we tell you otherwise.

Ordinary email is not intended for urgent or highly confidential clinical information. Follow any secure information route provided by our team.

Clinical assessment and treatment

All prescription-only treatment is subject to an appropriate assessment by a qualified prescriber. Treatment is offered only when clinically appropriate and lawful. We may decline, pause or stop a service where information is incomplete, treatment is unsuitable, monitoring requirements are not met, or patient or public safety could be affected.

Patients must provide complete and accurate information about their health, medicines and relevant changes. Failure to do so may make treatment unsafe.

This website links to third-party services, including Calendly for appointment booking. Those services have their own terms and privacy information. We are not responsible for third-party content or availability, although we select service providers with care.

Intellectual property and acceptable use

The website’s branding, original text and design belong to Quay-Pharm Ltd or its licensors. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape it at scale, or use its content in a misleading way.

Accuracy and availability

We aim to keep information accurate and the website available, but healthcare guidance, service availability and eligibility can change. We may update, suspend or remove content or services without notice where reasonably necessary.

Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not responsible for loss caused by reliance on general website information instead of obtaining appropriate professional advice, or for events outside our reasonable control.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland. The courts of Northern Ireland will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.
